WATERVILLE, Maine – The Bowdoin College men's golf team retained the CBB Championship Sunday, defeating Bates and Colby at Waterville Country Club.
The Polar Bears recorded a four-player score of 292, which is tied for the third-best single-round team score in program history, just two shots off the record set last spring at Skidmore.
Tournament Highlights
- All four of Bowdoin's scorers finished in the top five, as Andrew Flynn came away with medalist honors after carding a +1 (71) on the day. Flynn's 71 also ranks in the top ten all-time at Bowdoin and is one stroke off his collegiate low score of 70.
- Joey Zheng ended at +3 (73), taking third place individually while Henry Mariscal and Ian Harris shot identical 74's (+4) to finish in a tie for fifth place.
- Adam Eskin (+6) and Matthew Cohen (+10) also competed for the Polar Bears.
- Bowdoin ended with a team score of 292, defeating Bates (298) and Colby (304). The Polar Bears have now claimed the CBB crown in three of the last four years (2021, '23, '24) since COVID.
