Men's Golf Places Tenth at Duke Nelson Invitational

MIDDLEBURY, Vt. – The Bowdoin College men's golf team placed tenth of twenty teams at the season-opener Duke Nelson Invitational this weekend hosted by Middlebury College.
 
Weekend Highlights
  • In one of the most competitive fields of the season, featuring twenty of the top teams from the region at Ralph Myhre Golf Course, Bowdoin finished with a two-day total of 609. Amherst won the event with a score of 584.
  • Henry Mariscal led the way for Bowdoin with a 77-70-147 (+5), posting the third-best Sunday round of the tournament and vaulting 24 spots into eighth place.
  • Michael Xiao (75-77-152) finished in 29th place individually while Adam Eskin (76-79-155) was 46th.
  • Varun Murthy (77-79-156) and Kalden Hong (78-78-156) finished in a tie for 54th place for the Polar Bears.
