SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – Paced by a ninth-place finish by
Kaiden Hong, the Bowdoin men's golf team concluded its fall season with its best tournament of the year, taking fifth overall at the Skidmore Invitational last weekend at Saratoga Spa State Park GC.
Tournament Highlights
- In the three-round tournament, the Polar Bears recorded three sub-300 rounds as a team, with their 293 (four player total) in round two ranking as the fourth-best round in program history.
- For the tourney, Bowdoin went 298-293-295-886, trailing NYU by just two strokes and finishing in fifth. Amherst was first with a total of 864.
- Kaiden Hong went 70-74-73-217 to end in a tie for ninth place individually. His 70 (-2) in round one tied for the third-best single-round in program history.
- Adam Eskin (75-72-75-222) finished in 26th spot for the Polar Bears, and was followed closely by Henry Mariscal (75-74-75-224) in 33rd and Varun Murthy (78-75-72-225) in 34th.
