Men's Golf Finishes in Ninth at Williams Fall Classic

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The Bowdoin men's golf team took ninth place at the highly-competitive Williams Fall Invitational last weekend at Taconic Golf Club.
 
Weekend Highlights
  • Over the three-day tournament, the Polar Bears went 302-310-304 to finish at 916 strokes, just behind Middlebury (910) and edging out RPI (917) for ninth in the 15-team field.
  • First-year Michael Xiao was Bowdoin's top finisher, taking 19th place, moving up eight spots on Sunday to finish at +10 (72-80-71-223) for the tournament.
  • Henry Mariscal jumped 14 spots to 30th to end at 229 while Ian Harris was right behind in 34th spot at 230 strokes for the tourney.
  • Kaiden Hong (235), Adam Eskin (236) and Varun Murthy (237) all finished within two strokes of each other to round out the Polar Bear competitors.
