BRUNSWICK, Maine – Seven members of the Bowdoin College women's rugby team were named to the National Intercollegiate Rugby Association All-Academic list for their outstanding performances on the field and in the classroom.
 
To qualify as a NIRA All-Academic honoree, a student-athlete must be in at least their sophomore year and have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above. They also must have made a significant contribution to the team, competing in at least half of the season's games.
