BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin College women's rugby team will host West Chester (Pa.) in a NIRA Division II Semifinal match Saturday at 11 a.m. at Pickard Field. The winner of the semifinal will advance to the NIRA Division II championship match next Saturday hosted by Harvard University.

Saturday's Match
Bowdoin enters Saturday's semifinal as the second seed in the four-team tournament with a 5-1 record (3-1 in NIRA play) with their only blemish coming against top-seeded American International in late October. West Chester boasts a 4-3 (4-2 NIRA) mark heading into the match following a 30-20 win over Frostburg State in their regular season finale three weeks ago.
 
The contest will be a rematch of a hotly-contested clash between the teams on October 4 in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., when the Polar Bears sprinted to a 32-5 lead before holding off a furious rally by the Rams to claim a 37-27 victory.
 
West Chester returns to the D-II semifinals for the sixth straight year while Bowdoin is making its first-ever D-II semifinal appearance after moving up a level following years of success in Division III.
