LAKE PLACID, N.Y. – The Bowdoin Nordic ski team concluded the EISA carnival season at the NCAA Regionals hosted by St. Lawrence over the weekend.
 
The Polar Bears ended the weekend with 256 points and seventh place among Nordic teams. Bowdoin finished just one point behind Harvard.
 
Carnival Highlights

• Friday's skate was frigid with temperatures barely reaching double digits and a light dusting of snow coating the course. The women completed a 5k skate loop while the men completed 10k.
• The women had a fantastic day on Friday, turning in a fifth-place team finish. Morgan Richter paced the Polar Bears with a 14^th place finish. Emma Crum, Kira Gilbert, and Jordan Grialou all finished in the top-30.
• Bowdoin saw three skiers in the top-30 on the men's side. Carson Williams led the team with a 25^th place finish. Adam Carlisle and Ayden Nichol finished back-to-back.
• Cold firm tracks held up throughout both races for Saturday's 20k classic. Richter and Grialou finished in 24^th and 25^th place, respectively.
• Zachary Ennis posted a top-20 finish, perfectly spaced with Williams (25^th), and James Eysenbach (30^th).
