Women's Squash Falls in Opening Round of NESCAC's

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - The Williams College women's squash team was too much for Bowdoin in the opening round of the NESCAC Championship on Saturday afternoon. The Ephs took an 8-1 victory and dropped the Polar Bears to 12-8 on the season with the loss.

  • Skyler Spaulding was the lone Polar Bear to dent the win column on Saturday, earning an impressive 3-0 (11-7, 11-6, 12-10) win at the number six position.
  • Bowdoin battled to 3-1 losses at number four by Caroline Glaser and number nine by Sophie Barber but couldn't find another win.
  • Williams took 3-0 wins at the other six spots to secure the victory.

  • Bowdoin will now advance to play in the 2023 CSA Championships on February 17-19 at the University of Pennsylvania. Seeding for the championship will be announced early next week.
