BRUNSWICK, Maine – Bowdoin sailors Meghan Gonzalez (Ridgewood, N.J.) and Lizzy Kaplan (Larchmont, N.Y.) have been named to All-New England Intercollegiate Sailing Association teams announced by the organization on Tuesday.
 
Handed out at the conclusion of the Reed Trophy, hosted this year at Bowdoin, the NEISA Awards Committee named Gonzalez as a First Team All-NEISA Crew selection and Kaplan as a Second Team All-NEISA Skipper. This spring marked the first time since 2020 that NEISA had announced conference awards. 
 
Announced by the NEISA Awards Committee, comprised of five coaches, All-NEISA honors are given to competitors who demonstrated outstanding performance in competition during the year. In selecting All-NEISA sailors, the committee considers the competitive record of each candidate including individual results in Inter-conference competitions, conference and Collegiate National Championship competitions.
