CLINTON, N.Y. – The Bowdoin College women's squash team easily dispatched Colby, 8-1, in the first round of the NESCAC Tournament Friday night at Hamilton College. The Polar Bears improve to 9-6 with their second win of the season over the Mules and advance to the quarterfinals against Williams at 11:45 Saturday morning.
 
Match Highlights

• Bowdoin posted eight consecutive 3-0 shutout wins from positions two through nine to ease past Colby on Friday.
• Emma Watts-Roy, Caroline Glaser and Clio Bersani took 3-0 wins at spots two, three and four.
• Bowdoin continued the dominance at the bottom of the ladder, getting sweeps from Skyler Spaulding, Ursula Sze, Cabell Crowder, Melissa Horan and Sophie Barber to complete the win.
