Women's Squash Caps First Semester on Six-Match Winning Streak

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Bowdoin College women's squash team held off Brown, 5-4, to complete their first semester of cation on Saturday afternoon. The Polar Bears (6-1) enter break on a six-match winning streak, the longest for the team since the 2008-09 campaign.
 
Match Highlights
  • Bowdoin again dominated the bottom of the ladder in a competitive match to pull out the victory.
  • The Polar Bears earned convincing wins at positions six through nine, as Clio Bersani (3-0), Mira Karande (3-1), Sophie Barber (3-0) and Delphine King (3-0) took solid victories to put Bowdoin on the cusp of victory.
  • Amanda Cowhey earned a 3-0 win at number three (11-8, 11-9, 11-9) to account for the other Bowdoin win as the Polar Bears walked away with the win.

  • Bowdoin is off until January 6 when the Polar Bears will host Dartmouth at 5:00 p.m.
