Women's Squash Makes Season Debut, Earns Sunday Win at Wesleyan

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. - The Bowdoin College women's squash team, ranked 16th to start the 2022-23 season, earned its first win of the season on Sunday in a 7-2 triumph against Wesleyan following a 9-0 setback to Trinity on Saturday. Bowdoin stands at 1-1 on the young campaign following the results.

Weekend Highlights
  • Following their loss to Trinity on Saturday, Bowdoin earned wins at the top six positions to take down the Cardinals on Sunday.
  • The top four spots were all 3-0 sweeps for the Polar Bears, led by Emma Watts-Roy, Darcy Weber, Amanda Cowhey and Caroline Glaser. 
  • Clio Bersani took a 3-1 win at number five and Ursula Sze captured a 3-0 victory at six. 
  • Sophie Barber accounted for the other Bowdoin win on the day with a 3-0 triumph at number eight.

  • Bowdoin is off until December 3 when they host Connecticut College.
