BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin College women's squash team completed a fantastic weekend of action, defeating William Smith and Dickinson in consecutive days at the Lubin Center. The Polar Bears, ranked 20^th in the latest national poll, improve to 3-5 on the year.
 
William Smith Match Highlights

• The Polar Bears opened the weekend with a strong 8-1 win over the 22^nd-ranked Herons, their first win over William Smith since the 2010-11 season.
• Frances Hornbostel won the first match of her collegiate career at the number nine position, 3-2, while Sophie Barber notched her first win of the year, 3-0, at number seven.
• Amanda Cowhey, Emma Watts-Roy, Caroline Glaser, Clio Bersani, Melissa Horan and Delphine King all earned victories to round out the day for the Polar Bears.

Dickinson Match Highlights

• Bowdoin capped the weekend with another impressive performance, taking a 6-3 upset win over 18^th-ranked Dickinson.
• Dephine King earned an impressive 3-0 victory for Bowdoin while Emma Watts-Roy clinched the win with a 3-0 triumph at the number two spot.
• Caroline Glaser (3-0), Melissa Horan (3-1), Sophie Barber (3-0) and Frances Hornbostel (3-0) all collected convincing wins to seal the team victory for Bowdoin.
