BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Bowdoin College women's squash team played well, but lost an 8-1 decision to 10th-ranked Amherst on Tuesday afternoon at the Lubin Family Squash Center. The loss drops the 20th-ranked Polar Bears to 1-5 this season.

Match Highlights

• Emma Watts-Roy was credited with the lone win of the day for Bowdoin, as she was on her way to a first-game win before an injury withdrawal at the number two position (9-2, WD). 
• Amanda Cowhey battled at the number one position, taking a game in an eventual 3-1 loss (11-3, 7-11, 8-11, 9-11).
