BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin College women's hockey team will be the seventh seed for the upcoming NESCAC Tournament and will travel north to play at second-seeded Colby in the quarterfinals on Saturday, February 29.
The Polar Bears (8-13-3, 4-11-1) return to the NESCAC Tournament after a one-year hiatus and are the seventh seed for the first time since 2016 and will play the second-seeded Mules (14-5-5, 9-3-4), who earned their highest-ever seed for the conference tourney. Bowdoin is 3-1 against Colby in the NESCAC Championship series, including a 4-2 win in the 2014 semifinals. Colby swept the regular-season series against Bowdoin, winning 2-1 (OT) and 2-0 in a home-and-home series on November 22 and 23.
Game time is set for 3:00 p.m. on Saturday at Alfond Rink. The game will be carried live on the Northeast Sports Network.
