Track & Field Teams Excel at Non-Scoring Invitational

BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin College indoor track & field teams dominated a non-scoring invitational on Saturday against competition from Maine-Farmington, UNE and Thomas.

Meet Highlights

  • Double winners for the Polar Bear women included Elise Martin in the 60M hurdles (10.04) and the long jump (4.63m), both marking her first collegiate wins.
  • Belinda Saint Louis won both the weight throw and shot put for the Bowdoin women, tossing 13.31m in the weight and 11.67m in the shot.
  • Cedric Blaise led the way for the Bowdoin men, taking first in both the triple jump (11.9m) and long jump (6.34m).
  • Lydia Pitts posted an indoor PR to win the women's triple jump at 11.27m
  • First-years earning their first collegiate wins on Saturday included Jack McGinn (men's weight throw), Leila Trummel (women's 1000M) and Claire Wolff (women's 3000M).
