AMHERST, Mass. - The Bowdoin College women's squash team battled well, but fell in a 9-0 decision at 16th-ranked Amherst on Monday. 

The Polar Bears fall to 6-5 on the season with the setback.

Match Highlights

• Despite the result, Bowdoin battled well at a number of positions. 
• Caroline Glaser, Clio Bersani and Ursula Sze each took a game from their opponents at the top three spots for the Polar Bears.
• Glaser split the first two games, but dropped an 11-7, 8-11, 11-6, 11-6 decision. Bersani took the first game but dropped a 6-11, 11-3, 11-6, 13-11 loss and Sze lost an 11-2, 11-8, 7-11, 11-3 match.
