LEWISTON, Maine – The Bowdoin College women's track & field team dominated the field en route to a victory at the Aloha Relays this weekend hosted at Bates College.

The Polar Bears totaled 247.5 points to easily out-distance second-place Bates (171) in the eight-team field.

Meet Highlights

• Bowdoin had multiple winners on the track, including Brittney McKinley in both the 100M (12.36) and 200M (26.36) races.
• Caroline Shipley won the 800M (2:17.69) and Megan Dustin took the 10,000M (42:21.54) while Lydia Pitts won the 100M hurdles (15.25) and Sara Ory claimed the 400M hurdles (1:04.60).
• Bowdoin's 4x100 relay team of Morgen Gallagher, McKinley, Angela Wallace and Samantha Schaefer also came away with a first-place showing in a time of 49.09.
• In the field events, the Polar Bears got first-place finishes from Sophia Slovenski in both the javelin (131-7) and the pole vault (10-8) while Belinda Saint Louis won the shot put (40-9).
