LEWISTON, Maine – The Bowdoin College women's squash team fell to Bates, 9-0, in its season-opener on Wednesday evening.

The Polar Bears (0-1) are ranked 26^th the latest College Squash Association poll while Bates (2-1) is ranked 18^th.

Match Highlights

• The Bobcats swept the Polar Bears 3-0 in all nine positions in the victory.
• Clio Bersani at #2 (11-9, 12-10, 11-4) and Natasha Belsky at #3 (12-10, 11-4, 11-6) played the tightest matches in the setback.
