AMHERST, Mass. - The Bowdoin College women's squash team coasted to an 8-1 win over Hamilton in the first round of the NESCAC Tournament on Friday evening at Amherst College.

The Polar Bears (5-8) advance to the quarterfinals for the eighth consecutive season with the win.

Match Highlights

• Bowdoin got contributions throughout the lineup and earned 3-0 sweeps at the top seven positions in the victory.
• Sarah Nelson, Lindsey Bindra and Alexa Horwitz took shutouts at the top three spots.
• Tully Ross, Chloe Polikoff, Lauren Howells and Zoe Wood accounted for wins at spots 4-7 for the Polar Bears, all by 3-0 scores.
• Natasha Belsky rounded out the victory for Bowdoin with a 3-2 (13-11, 12-10, 5-11, 8-11, 13-11) triumph at the nine spot
