PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Bowdoin College women's squash team dropped two matches last weekend played at Brown University.
The Polar Bears (4-8), ranked 21st in the latest national poll, dropped 9-0 to Brown and 8-1 Virginia in their final match before the NESCAC Tournament this coming weekend.
Weekend Highlights
- First-year Lindsey Bindra had the best effort for Bowdoin in the setback to 10th-ranked Brown, dropping a 3-2 decision (5-11, 11-9, 11-13, 11-6, 11-4).
- Sarah Nelson, who fell 3-1 to Brown, bounced back to earn a 3-2 victory at the #1 position against Virginia, winning by scores of 11-7,11-6,10-12,6-11,11-9.
