Track & Field Open Outdoor Season at Miami Hurricane Invitational

MIAMI, Fla. – The Bowdoin College outdoor track & field teams opened their spring season at the Hurricane Invitational this weekend.

The Polar Bears posted several top performances at the non-scoring meet which contained numerous Division I athletes.

Meet Highlights

Calvin Henry won the men's 1500 meters (4:04.19) by a three-second margin
Sarah Kelley claimed the win in the women's 1500 meters (4:40.94) by nearly two seconds
Bowdoin went 1-2 in the men's 800 meter race as Jacob Ellis (1:53.48) edged out Conor Donahue for the win
The Polar Bears also recorded fantastic showings in the javelin as Andrew Murowchick (54.98 meters) took second and Ellen Masalsky (37.41 meters) took third overall in their respective events
