The Polar Bears competed in two weekend regattas including our first New England Championship of the spring. The Polar Bears battled against the top twelve teams in the New England, all of which are considered the top teams in the country. Jack McGuire, Michael Croteau, Harrison Hawk, Charlotte Williamson, Matt Lyons, Mimi Paz, Jake Griffin, Julia Rew, and Chester Jacobs sailed for the Polar Bears .
The Polar Bears also competed at the Emily Wick Trophy hosted by the Coast Guard Academy. This event featured all the top women's teams in the country. The Polar Bears had several good races but struggled a bit on the starting line and sailing good first beats and finished 13th of 18 teams competing. Sailing for the Polar Bears was Erin Mullins, Dana Bloch, Lizzy Hamilton, Courtney Koos, Olivia Diserio, and Ellis Price.
This upcoming weekend is another busy one with the Polar Bears competing in 4 events including the Owen Trophy at Yale, Navy Spring, the Savin Hill Invite at BC, and the President's Trophy at BU.
