LINCOLN, Neb. - Three members of the Bowdoin College women's indoor track team competed at the NCAA Division III Championship hosted by Nebraska Wesleyan this weekend.
Addison Carvajal finished 11th in the pentathlon, Erin Silva placed 11th in the pole vault and Katherine Harmon took 17th in the weight throw.
Seeded 12th heading into the pentathlon, Carvajal improved her placement by one position, finishing with 3,344 points. Her best event was the high jump, where she placed second in the field with a height of 1.60 meters.
Silva took 11th with a height of 3.70, just missing out on a personal best of 3.80 meters in the finals and finishing just 10 inches off the winning height.
Harmon took 17th in the weight throw in her first appearance at indoor nationals. She tossed a distance of 15.19 meters and unfortunately fouled on her final toss.
