DURHAM, N.H. - Chris Martin established a new triple jump record as the Bowdoin College track teams competed in a non-scoring meet at the University of New Hampshire on Saturday.
Martin earned a pair of victories in the long jump and triple jump and snapped the school's 20-year old mark in the triple jump with a total distance of 14.54 meters, edging the mark of 14.41 meters formerly held by Jeff Mao '92. Martin also claimed the long jump competition with a distance of 6.75 meters.
Emily Clark won the 400 meter hurdles for the women's team in a time of 1:05.01 while Erin Silva claimed the pole vault competition with a height of 3.34 meters, just .01 meters off the school's outdoor record.
