Bowdoin Sailors Earn High Finishes at Weekend Regattas

BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Bowdoin College sailing team was able to compete in a pair of races this weekend, earning solid results as the season entered its third week.

The women's team finished third overall of 20 team at the Mrs. Hurst hosted by Dartmouth, led by a dominating performance in B Division by Kaylee Schwitzer and Ayaka Okawa. Katie Doble and Kim Dempsey sailed A-Division for the Polar Bears.

At UVM, the co-ed team finished fifth overall of 18 teams, just six points out of first place. Pete Edmunds, Mae Speight, Jeff Goodrich, and Clare Henry sailed for the Polar Bears.
