BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Williams College men's golf team claimed
the 2010 Bowdoin Invitational at Brunswick Golf Club on Sunday,
firing a team score of 304 to take a tiebreaker win over Husson
College. The Ephs and Eagles both totaled 619 for the tournament,
but Williams earned the win by having the better score on their
fifth-best scorecard on Sunday's round.
Husson's Mike Hersey claimed medalist honors by firing a pair of
74's to finish at 148 for the tournament. His teammate, Chris
Hamel, ended two shots back (150) with Williams' Bob Camp finishing
three shots off the pace (151).
