Men's Tennis Begins NESCAC Tournament Play Friday Against Colby

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – The Bowdoin College men's tennis team is the second seed for the 2026 NESCAC Championship Tournament that begins Friday on the campus of Wesleyan University. The Polar Bears (15-3, 9-1 NESCAC) will face seventh-seeded Colby (6-10, 4-6 NESCAC) at 1:00 p.m. Friday in the quarterfinals.
 
The championship continues throughout the weekend with semifinal matches set for 11:00 a.m. Saturday and the final at 11:00 a.m. Sunday.
 
Bowdoin, the 2025 NESCAC Runners-Up, has qualified for the NESCAC Championship 23 times since 2001 and are the No. 2 for the second time in the last four championships. The Polar Bears closed out the regular season winning seven straight matches and defeated Colby, 7-0, on April 16. The Polar Bears and Mules are meeting for the first time in the NESCAC Tournament.
