BRUNSWICK, Maine – Bowdoin College junior
Abbie Quinn (Bangor, Maine) and
Grace Kinum (New Providence, N.J.) have collected a series of postseason honors to wrap up the 2025-26 women's basketball campaign.
Both players garnered Women's Basketball Coaches Association Division III Honorable Mention All-American, were named D3hoops.com First Team All-Region and New England Women's Basketball Association Second Team selections. The awards come at the conclusion of a 25-3 campaign for the Polar Bears, as both players were also named First Team All-NESCAC.
Quinn averaged a league-best 16.9 points per game on 52% shooting from the field and 78% from the free throw line against NESCAC opponents this winter. Against the top half of the league Quinn was at her best, averaging 19.8 points and 5.0 boards against Bates, Amherst, and Trinity.
Kinum enjoyed a breakout sophomore campaign saw her average 13.5 points, 6.9 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 2.0 steals per game. She was the only player in the conference to average more than 13.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 2.0 steals this season.
