Men's Golf Nears Program-Best Results At The Ruckus

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - The Bowdoin College men's golf team posted the second-best two-day team score in program history to finish second at its spring opener last weekend, The Ruckus, hosted at Williamsburg (Va.) National Golf Club. 
 
Tournament Highlights
 
  • The Polar Bears carded a two-day total of 587 (+11) to end the tournament only behind first place Drew (+4) in the 11-team field. 
  • Andrew Flynn led a balanced effort by the Polar Bears, going 71-74-145 (+1) to take sixth place. 
  • Joey Zheng (74-72-146) and Matthew Cohen (71-75-146) tied for tenth place individually. 
  • Henry Mariscal (73-75-148) was 15th and Oscar Wen (80-72-152) ended in 19th to round out the top Bowdoin performers.

  • The Polar Bears will return to action on April 5-6 at the Trinity Spring Invitational hosted at Tumblebrook Golf Club.
