NESCAC Recognizes Pair from Women's Squash

BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin women's squash team saw a pair of players recognized with New England Small College Athletic Conference post-season awards.

Senior Emma Watts-Roy (Louisville, Ky.) was named First Team All-NESCAC, while senior Amanda Cowhey (Ft. Washington, Pa.) picked up Second Team honors.

Watts-Roy earned conference honors for the fourth consecutive year, but received first team recognition for the first time in her career. The senior played at the top of Bowdoin's lineup as the Polar Bears went 12-6 and finished the year ranked 17th nationally. Watts-Roy collected seven wins, including the team's lone point against Middlebury in the opening round of the Kutz Cup at CSA Nationals.

Cowhey played #2 for the Polar Bears and returned as an all-conference selection after earning the award in both 2022 and '23. The senior compiled ten wins this season, including wins in two out of three matches at CSA Nationals.
