Box Score NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Bowdoin men's ice hockey team tied Connecticut College 2-2 and dropped the shootout opportunity on Friday night in Connecticut.
The game is recorded as a tie, putting the Polar Bears at 5-1-1 (3-0-1 NESCAC). The Camels are 3-3-1 (1-3-1 NESCAC).
 
Game Highlights

• The Camels scored the game's first goal with under three minutes to play in the first period. Quinn Kennedy had the puck behind Bowdoin's net and found Shane Zarcone in front of the crease for a one-timer.
• Connecticut College doubled its lead 5:26 into the second off a back door finish by William Tripp.
• Bowdoin finally broke through ten minutes later. Pierre Larocque took a shot from the right point and Louie Marcellino slightly deflected the puck as it came through to put Bowdoin on the board.
• Bowdoin tied the game midway through the third period. The Polar Bears skated the puck from their own zone into Camel territory. A clear attempt by the defenders resulted in a loose puck deflected to Jayson Alegria. Alegria made quick work from the slot to make it 2-2.
• The Camels ultimately won in a shootout after the teams traded chances in overtime.
