BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin College men's and women's cross country teams hosted their first meet in nearly two years, as both squads placed second at the CBBT Opener on Saturday at Pickard Fields.
Featuring teams from Bowdoin, Colby, Bates, and Tufts, the Bowdoin men were second (41) of four teams, following only Colby (25). The women were second with 51 total points, trailing Tufts (15).
Women's Meet Highlights
- Lauren Traum led the way for the Polar Bears, placing sixth in a time of 17:33.3 on the 4.5k course.
- Bowdoin then took places 10th-14th thanks to several strong first-year performances.
- Angelina Hickey (17:43.0), Cam Meyer (17:45.9), and Kaylee (Hale (17:54.4) finished 10th-12th and were followed closely by Delaney Jones (17:55.5), and Tori Bacall (18:00.3).
- Andrea Becker (16th, 18:06.8) and Lex Davis (18:07.8) rounded out the top-20 finishers for the Polar Bears.
