MIDDLEBURY, Vt. – Bowdoin first-year Emily Renoff placed second overall, the best-ever finish by a Polar Bear at the George Phinney Classic hosted by Middlebury College this weekend.
 
Tournament Highlights

• The Polar Bears totaled 649 over the two days to take ninth place in the 11-team field.
• After posting a +5 (76) on day one, Renoff posted a +1 (72) on Sunday, finishing just two strokes (148) off the winning total (146).
• Katie Ng (161) took 27^th overall in the tournament, followed by Shivani Schmulen (168) in 48^th.
• Emilia Rose (53^rd, 172) and Ocean Park (56^th, 177) rounded out the Bowdoin scorers over the weekend.
