Women's Golf Closes Out Fall Semester at Polar Bear Shootout

BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin College women's golf team placed seventh at its fall finale, the Polar Bear Shootout at Brunswick Golf Club this weekend.
 
Tournament Highlights
  • In the 14-team field, Bowdoin totaled a two-day score of 306-305 to end at 611, just one stroke behind Babson. Williams won the event with an impressive total of 562.
  • Individually Emily Renoff had her best tournament of the fall, carding a two-day score of 69-73-142 (-2) to end in fourth place, just three strokes off the winning score.
  • Shivani Schmulen rose 12 spots on Sunday to finish in 22nd overall, going 79-75-154.
  • Katie Ng (82-76-158) ended in 37th spot, followed closely by Hailey Ryan (81-78-159) in 39th.
  • Isabella Salerno (76-85-161) in 41st and Emilia Rose (86-81-167) in 53rd rounded out the Bowdoin competitors.

  • The Polar Bears will return to action in the spring semester. The NESCAC Women's Golf Championship is scheduled for May 1-3, 2026, at Taconic Golf Club in Williamstown, Mass. A full spring schedule will be posted soon.
