HOPKINTON, N.H. – Three members of the Bowdoin cross country teams earned All-Region status at the NCAA East Regional on Saturday at the Hopkinton State Fairgrounds. The Polar Bear men placed fourth overall in the 33-team field while the women's squad took sixth overall among 30 teams.
 
Men's Meet Highlights

• The Bowdoin men's team totaled 161 points, trailing only MIT (43), Tufts (61), and WPI (128), and just edging out Bates (162) by a single point.
• Will Goddard took second place individually, finishing the 8K race in 24:41.18 to earn All-Region recognition and an automatic trip to the NCAA Division III Championship. His time was less than six seconds off the winning pace.
• Seamus McDonough (25:58.57), and Oliver Brandes (26:04.70) took 36^th and 39^th spot, respectively, while Matthew Servin (26:06.38) and Ashton Dunlap (26:07.78) were 41^st and 43^rd to round of Bowdoin's top five finishers.

Women's Meet Highlights

• The Polar Bears scored 186 points, finishing between Suffolk (148) and Keene State (207) in sixth spot overall.
• Bowdoin had a pair of All-Region runners on the women's side as Angela Hickey was 29^th (23:00.26) and Lauren Traum finished the 6K in 33^rd (23:09.41).
• Kaylee Hale (39^th, 23:24.54), Cam Meyer (43^rd, 23:34.16), and Lex Davis (47^th, 23:40.18) comprised the top five Bowdoin finishers at the event.
