WATERFORD, Conn. – The Bowdoin College cross country teams ran well at their final pre-NESCAC tune-up on Saturday at the highly-competitive Conn College Invitational hosted at Harkness Memorial Park. In fields that included multiple nationally-ranked squads, the Polar Bear men placed tenth of 35 squads while the women earned a 15^th-place showing in a 37-team field.
 
Men's Meet Highlights

• Will Goddard was the top individual finisher for either Polar Bear team, placing fifth in the men's 8k in a time of 24:20.80.
• The Bowdoin men totaled 323 points and lost out to Bates in a tiebreaker for ninth place.
• Matthew Servin took 48^th spot (25:17.0), followed by Seamus McDonough in 72^nd (25:50.6).
• Ashton Dunlap (82^nd, 25:54.2) and Oliver Brandes (96^th, 26:04.5) rounded out the Bowdoin scorers in the 277-runner race.

Women's Meet Highlights

• Angelina Hickey was the top Polar Bear finisher on the women's side, placing 49^th in the 6k race in a time of 22:18.7.
• Bowdoin finished with a score of 470 points, just edging out Colby (476) for 15^th spot overall.
• Lauren Traum ended in 59^th (22:29.2), Lex Davis was 119^th (23:14.2), Cam Meyer (131^st, 23:19.0), and Kaylee Hale (134^th, 23:22.8) accounted for the Polar Bear scoring in the 285-runner meet.
