AUBURN, Maine – The Bowdoin College men's and women's cross country teams competed at the Bates Invitational on Sunday afternoon at Roy's Golf Center in Auburn. The Polar Bear men placed fourth while the women's team took sixth place overall.
 
Meet Highlights

• The top two competitors raced well for Bowdoin in both races, as the Polar Bears will add key contributors to the lineup in two weeks.
• Brooks Peters (26:10.5) and Will Goddard (26:13.0) went 3-4 in the men's 8k race while Seamus McDonough placed 15^th in 27:14.6.
• Abby Mueller was 13^th (19:51.9) and Tori Bacall was 22^nd (20:20.3) in the women's 5k competition.
