th game all-time, when it travels to Clinton, N.Y., on Saturday for a noon kickoff against Hamilton College.

LAST SEASON
The Polar Bears are coming off a 3-6 campaign last fall while Hamilton finished the year with a 2-7 record. Bowdoin finished in a three-way tie for sixth place in the league while the Continentals ended in a tie for ninth place.

Bowdoin returns nearly all its offensive firepower from a year ago, including quarterback
Andrew Boel (1,476 yards, 5 TD's) and All-NESCAC tailback
Andre Eden (609 rushing yards, 8 TD's). Bowdoin had three receivers surpass 30 catches and 400 yards last autumn, and return all three in
Colton Fahey (32-479 yards, 3 TD's),
Jed Hoggard (31-451, 2 TD's), and
Brendan King (430 yards, 1 TD). Defensively, All-NESCAC linebacker
Koy Price returns (47 tackles, 2 INT, 9 PBU's) alongside leading tackler
Max Jacobs (61 tackles, 2.5 sacks), among several other starters from a year ago. Bowdoin finished the season ranked sixth in total offense (305.6 yards/game) and fifth in total defense (341.7 yards/game) in the NESCAC a year ago.

SCOUTING THE CONTINENTALS
The Continentals return starting quarterback Matt Banbury, who threw for over 1,400 yards and rushed for 310 yards in 2022. All-NESCAC tight end Mark Howrigan caught 43 passes for 452 yards last year and the top defensive returner for the Continentals is linebacker Cole Rivell, who made 67 stops and had two interceptions. Hamilton ranked eighth in the NESCAC in total offense (271.8 yards/game) and tenth in total defense (411.9 yards/game) last season.

LAST MEETING
Last September in the season-opener in Brunswick, the Polar Bears sprinted to a 28-0 halftime lead and cruised to a 41-13 victory at Whittier Field. Boel went 17-20 for 249 yards passing while Eden racked up 124 yards on 23 carries.

BOWDOIN vs. HAMILTON – ALL-TIME
The teams have played 38 times with Hamilton holding an 22-16 advantage all-time. Bowdoin's win last season snapped a five-game winning streak by Hamilton in the series. Recently, home field advantage has proved crucial; the host team has won 11 of the last 14 meetings. Bowdoin's last win at Hamilton was their last road victory of any kind, coming on October 11, 2014.
