BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin College men's lacrosse team has landed four members on the New England Small College Athletic Conference All-Conference teams announced this week. Will Byrne (Darien, Conn.) and Zack Goorno (Concord, Mass.) were named as First Team selections while Patrick Fitzgerald (Chevy Chase, Md.) and Ethan Barnard (Boxford, Mass.) were named Second Team choices.
 
Will Byrne enjoyed another phenomenal year for the Polar Bears. The 2022 NESCAC Rookie of the Year gets a promotion to the first team thanks to a team-leading 83-point season that included 38 assists, ranking second in the conference. Zack Goorno repeats as a First Team selection in the midfield, scoring 29 points while collecting 68 ground balls, ranking second on the team.
 
Patrick Fitzgerald earns his first NESCAC postseason honor, leading the conference in goals this spring with 58. He also ranked among the team leaders with 39 ground balls. Ethan Barnard collects his second NESCAC award, earning honors at the faceoff dot. Barnard won 62.3% of his faceoffs (291-467) and led the team with 138 ground balls on the year.
