BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin College women's squash team, ranked 16
th in the nation, will open play in the Kurtz Division of the College Squash National Championships this weekend at the University of Pennsylvania.
The Polar Bears (12-8) will be appearing in the Kurtz Division for the second straight year after not appearing in the B-Division championship bracket since 2009. Bowdoin will be seeded eighth in the division and will play the host school, Penn, at 3:30 p.m. Friday in their first match.
Action continues throughout the weekend with day two's match scheduled for 11:30 a.m. with final matches scheduled for Sunday. All matches will be played at Penn. Bowdoin placed 16
th in the nation last year and, with at least one win in this year's bracket, would post their highest finish at nationals since that 2009 season. Bowdoin won the Kurtz Cup Division of nationals in 2003.
