BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin College women's basketball team is the eighth seed and will travel to Tufts for the NESCAC Quarterfinals on Saturday, February 18. The Polar Bears (15-9) and Jumbos (18-6) will play at 2:00 p.m. in Cousens Gymnasium with a trip to the conference semifinals on the line.
 
Bowdoin is the No. 8 seed for the first time since 2013 and has qualified for every NESCAC Championship since the tournament's inception in 2000-01. Tufts earned a 66-54 win at Bowdoin February 4 in the regular season, and the NESCAC Tournament series is tied at 5-5. Bowdoin won the most recent postseason matchup, the 2020 championship game, to capture its ninth conference title. The Polar Bears own nine conference crowns, the most of any NESCAC school.

Quarterfinal games will be played on February 18 at the higher seed while the semifinals and final will be held at the highest remaining seed on February 25 and 26.
