BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin College outdoor track & field teams hosted their first meet at Magee-Samuelson Track in 1,100 days, welcoming . The Polar Bears posted impressive finishes in their first home meet since April 6, 2019, with a number of first-place showings and New England qualifiers.

Women's Meet Highlights
- Lydia Pitts continued her phenomenal senior year with a time of 14.73 despite a headwind to win the 100m hurdles, coming within .01 of the school record and earning the top time in New England this spring.
- Kianne Benjamin claimed first place showings in both the 100m (12.50) and 200m (25.75) events.
- Bowdoin went 1-2-3 with collegiate bests in the 800m with Cameron Mackenzie winning in a NE qualifying time of 21:19.91.
- Abby Mueller ran away with a win in the 1500m (4:52.41) with Neena Goldthwaite improving 12 seconds from last weekend to take 2nd (5:11.35)
- Bowdoin's 4x400 relay teams went 1-2, led by the winning team of Katherine Page, Gabby Phillips, Arly Rodriguez, and Emma Noel in 4:08.25
- Charlotte Hodge won her season debut in the pole vault, qualifying for New Englands with a height of 3.65m
- Charlotte Sweet finished second in the pole vault and won her collegiate debut in the high jump in a NE qualifying height of 1.57m
- In the throws, Jada Scotland won the discus (38.42m) and finished second in the hammer (42.60m) to a huge first-place throw from Emma Hargreaves (50.31) which earned NE qualification.
Men's Meet Highlights
- Ajay Olson wasn't stymied by a headwind in his season debut, qualifying for New England's with first place finishes in the 100m (10.91) and 200m (21.80)
- Parker Beatty won the 110m hurdles in a NE D3 qualifying time of 15.82 while Max Russo won the 400m hurdles in a qualifying time of 56.37.
- Bowdoin went 1-2 in the 800m as Eli Franklin won in 1:56.33 with Brooks Peters right behind in 1:56.64, both earning NE D3 times.
- The Polar Bears had the top two finishers in the pole vault in Ryan Durkin (4.45m) and Nick Sibiryakov (4.30m) to qualify for New England D3's
- Cheng Xing qualified for New England's in winning the long jump (6.88m)
- Don Acquista won the shot put (13.04) with a personal best while Ore Shote claimed the discus with a throw of 37.77m
