BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Bowdoin College women's rugby team remained unbeaten with a convincing 45-17 win over Norwich University on Saturday afternoon at Pickard Field. The Polar Bears stand at 6-0 this season following the win. 

Match Highlights

• Winning all their own scrums and line outs, the Polar Bears took advantage of their possession and with multiple phases of play and were able to capitalize on territory and scoring in the win. 
• Playing left and right wings respectively, LuLu Linkas and Saniya Ridley opened the scoring with a try a piece on long runs four minutes apart in the first half. 
• Norwich quickly move down field and powered in for a try of their own, cutting the lead to 12-5.
• Fullback Lauryn Eisenhart slotted into the back line for a pass and outmaneuvered three defenders to touch it down for her first try and second conversion of the match.
• Ten minutes later Maggie Norton found space and outpaced the defense for the fourth try of the half, with an Eisenhart conversion, the score at halftime was 26–5.
• In the second half, Bowdoin's defense paid off with some key turnovers turned into scoring opportunities. Len Dodge scored with a hard leg-driving run at 43 minutes, and a pair of tries from #8 Rebecca Vakarau at 48 and 53 minutes clinched the match for the Polar Bears. 
• Lauryn Eisenhart ended the day with 10 points on conversion kicks and a try for a total of 15 points.
• In a strong defensive showing from the entire team, leading the tackle count were Jorja Markella with 16, Kyra Bishop with 12, Sadie New and Rebecca Vakarau with 11 each.
