Men's Golf Finishes 15th at Highly Competitive Duke Nelson Invitational

MIDDLEBURY, Vt. – The Bowdoin College men's golf team took 15th place at the highly-competitive Duke Nelson Invitational this weekend hosted by Middlebury College. The Polar Bears finished with a team score of 633 at the two-day event, just 11 strokes away from a top-ten finish in the 24-team field.
 
Tournament Highlights
  • Reed Foehl and Favian Busnawi led the way for Bowdoin with matching two-day totals of 155. Busnawi went 74-81, and Foehl carded a 81-74 as the duo finished in a tie for 43rd place.
  • Liam Jachetta (78-84) and Ned Dean (82-80) took a tie for 69th with matching 162 scores.
  • Jack Roberts rounded out the Polar Bear entrants with a two-day score of 170 to finish in a tie for 99th.
 Up Next
  • The Polar Bears will return to action next weekend when they compete at the Williams Fall Invitational at Taconic Golf Club on Saturday and Sunday.
