Bradley, Breuker Win Singles Flights at Wallach Tennis Invitational

LEWISTON, Maine – Bowdoin's Tristan Bradley won A-flight singles and Pieter Breuker claimed the C-flight bracket as the Polar Bear men's tennis team posted an outstanding performance at the Wallach Invitational hosted by Bates this weekend.
 
Tournament Highlights
  • Tristan Bradley didn't lose a set in four matches, dominating the field in the A-singles draw, including a 6-2, 6-1 win in the finals against Rishabh Sharda of Tufts in the finals.
  • Breuker also didn't drop a set in three wins in the C-singles tourney, taking a 6-2, 6-3 win over William Turchetta in the finals to claim the crown.
  • The duo of Breuker and Bradley also were outstanding together in A-flight doubles, winning three matches to advance all the way to the finals before falling to the top-seeded team from Amherst.

  • The Polar Bears will return to action next weekend at the Wesleyan Invitational, closing out their fall campaign.
