Men's Basketball Wins First Game Of Season In Rout of Worcester State

DANBURY, Conn. – The Bowdoin College men's basketball team bounced back in a big way to defeat Worcester State, 90-65, in the consolation game of the Western Connecticut Colonial Classic on Saturday afternoon.

The Polar Bears (1-1) rebounded from last night's buzzer-beating setback to win their first game of the season. Worcester State falls to 2-3 with the loss.

  • The Polar Bears put the game out of reach early, taking an 18-4 lead just seven minutes into the contest.
  • David Reynolds scored eight points in the run that gave Bowdoin the early lead.
