  • Tyler Sparks sparked the rally with an RBI double before Ryan Quinn ripped a two-run triple
  • Zach Ellenthal and Matt Garcia also delivered run-scoring hits in the frame which gave Colby the lead they would not relinquish

  • Mike Staes took the loss for Bowdoin, permitting six runs in 1.2 innings
  • Ellenthal finished 4-4 for Colby with two RBI

  • In the third, Jack Wilhoite came home on a wild pitch and Luke Cappellano singled home Suski to double Bowdoin's lead
  • Colby got RBI hits from Ryan Quinn and Hanson in the fifth to trim the Polar Bear lead to 4-2, but Lopez managed to get out of further damage as the Mules squandered a second-and-third with no outs opportunity
  • Bowdoin added an insurance run in the eighth when Hansen singled home Nick Sadler
  • Lopez earned the win with 7.0 innings of work, allowing just one earned run and striking out three batters
  • Jacob Stein garned the save by tossing two innings of relief and allowing just one hit
