Baseball Clinches Playoff Spot With Series Win Over Colby

BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin baseball team clinched the number three seed for the conference playoffs after winning its three-game series against Colby to close out the NESCAC regular season.

The Polar Bears (15-18) boast an identical conference record (5-7) with the Mules (19-13), but bump ahead for playoff seeding with the head-to-head tiebreaker. Bowdoin rallied late to win the first game 6-5 and nearly did the same in a 7-6 setback.
