Box Score CLERMONT, Fla. – Peter Mumford made 13 saves as the Bowdoin College men's lacrosse team overwhelmed Springfield for its second straight win, 13-5, in Florida on Wednesday afternoon.
The Polar Bears (2-1) have won back-to-back games while the Pride fall to 1-4 on the season.

- After Springfield scored the game's initial goal, Bowdoin rolled off four straight – courtesy of four different scorers – to take a 4-1 edge after one period
- The Pride closed the gap to 5-3 midway through the second quarter, but Brett Kujala and Clayton Wright both scored in the final three minutes before the break to give the Polar Bears a 7-3 edge at intermission
- The Polar Bears put the contest out of reach by scoring the first four goals of the second half. Brandon Lee started and ended the run with goals that pushed Bowdoin's lead to 11-3
- Matthew Crowell scored a pair of fourth-quarter goals to put the game on ice
